25 Friday Quiz Questions for Work (Ready to Host Live)
It's Friday, the last sync of the week is in ten minutes, and you want to end it with something better than "any other business?". This pack is 25 general-knowledge questions picked for exactly that slot: work-safe, answerable by anyone regardless of where they grew up, and just contested enough that the call gets loud in a good way.
The difficulty is deliberately mixed. A few are gimmes so everyone scores early; a few look easy and aren't — most people are certain the hottest planet is the one closest to the sun, and most people are wrong. Every answer is on this page, so you can skim the list before hosting and cut anything your team would find too easy or too hard.
You can copy these into whatever tool you like — but hosting them here takes about ten seconds. The pack loads into a live team quiz: you share one link, everyone answers on their own device, and a live leaderboard updates after every question. No player accounts, nothing to install.
How to run this with your team
- Draw a subset, don't run all 25. The defaults draw a shuffled 12 of the 25 — about ten minutes at 20 seconds a question. Anyone who read this page beforehand still won't know which twelve are coming, and you can host the same pack again in a few weeks with a mostly fresh draw.
- Let the leaderboard do the energy work. Scores update live after every question, so the standings swing all game. Call out position changes between questions — "two people just passed Priya" does more for engagement than any pep talk.
- Use Pause & Discuss on the surprises. When a question lands wrong for half the room (the hottest-planet one will), hit Pause & Discuss. It re-shows the question with the answer and how the team voted, so everyone gets their moment of outrage before you move on. Thirty seconds of "no way, since WHEN does Saturn have more moons" is the actual team-building.
- Keep the timer at 20 seconds. It's long enough to read and commit, short enough that nobody can look anything up. Faster correct answers score more, so decisive players get rewarded — mention that up front.
