End-of-Sprint Celebration Quiz: 24 Questions to Close It Out

Most sprint retros end the same way status meetings do — a quick summary, a few action items, everyone logs off. This pack is 24 questions about records, wins, and celebrations, built to close the sprint the way it should end: with the team feeling like they actually finished something.

The difficulty is deliberately mixed. A few are gimmes anyone can get; a few reward genuine sports and pop-culture trivia knowledge — the perfect-bowling-score and Nadia Comăneci questions both catch people out. Every answer is on this page if you want to check it before hosting.

It runs as a live team quiz: share one link, everyone answers on their own device, and a live leaderboard updates after every question. No accounts, nothing to install — ready before the retro doc is even open.

How to run this with your team

  • Run it after the retro, not instead of it. Ten minutes of celebration trivia is a genuinely better way to close a sprint than ending on the last awkward silence of a status round.
  • Draw a subset, don't run all 24. The defaults draw a shuffled 12 of the 24 — about ten minutes at 20 seconds a question, with the rest held back for the next sprint's close.
  • Use Pause & Discuss on the record-breaking questions. The perfect-bowling-score and Nadia Comăneci questions both reward a beat of reaction — pause, let the room react, then reveal.
  • Pair it with the kickoff pack to bookend the sprint. Open with starts and launches, close with wins and records — same team, same cadence, two different energies.
